Meet Tony Valenti, a single father who does some of his best—and most dangerous—work outside a courtroom. Tony and his law partner, Penelope Brooks, operate out of a small office in the Chicago suburb of Cedar Heights, where the locals affectionately refer to them as “Lawyers to Little People and Lost Causes.” Tony and Penelope enlist a revolving cast of friends, family, and others as they fight injustice on behalf of outgunned clients.
